Arthritis: How your prescription may be making it worse
I finally have proof, prescription drugs making knee pain worse
“The use of this nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medication has been shown in scientific studies to accelerate the articular cartilage breakdown in osteoarthritis. The use of this product poses a significant risk in accelerating osteoarthritis joint breakdown.”
I found the proof!
Let me tell you a story. For those who do not know, I work with people, counseling them to overcome health issues using food. Very often I have found that many health conditions people suffer with are from the prescription drugs they are taking. Chemical pills always have side effects, ALWAYS! This is the story of someone I have been working with for a long time. https://www.macroval.com/counseling.htm
This person started suffering with arthritis, this has been over 15 years. The condition went downhill fast. The person was able to get around and even hike in the woods 10 years ago. Even 7 years ago this person was doing well.
Fast forward to the last couple years and this person’s knee pain has gotten progressively worse. Someone close to this person said a few years back that they could not understand why their knees were so bad because this person had not been a sports player, did not stand on their feet all day for a job and did not do things that most would associate with the rapid knee break down that this person was suffering with. I always remembered that observation because I could see it also.
This person I was working with had a somewhat healthy diet, better than most. Focusing on organic foods that are whole and unprocessed. I had warned this person about nightshade vegetables often because of this arthritis condition. Unfortunately, they loved tomatoes but that would not have accelerated the decline of his knees so rapidly and to the extent of how bad they are now. Plus, we had tried so many different ways to help with this arthritis condition, foods, herbs, patches, compresses, poultices and some helped a little, but the knees just kept getting worse.
I had come to the conclusion that one of the prescriptions drugs this person was taking was leading to the demise of the joint and cartilage in his knees. I did so much research but could not find the proof. Then I heard an interview with Gary Brecka and I had found part of my answer. The first interview I listened to was a year ago. Just last week, I listened to a new interview with Gary that gave me more insights and I started searching again for information. I believe this information is starting to come more now. (Both of those interviews with Gary Brecka are below.)
The person I was working with had been taking a NSAID for at least the last 10 years (maybe longer). This is what has led to the decline in his knees and made his pain worse. According to what Gary said and also what is written in the articles I share below, most people opt for a knee replacement surgery when their knees become worse from taking a NSAID, thus creating more income for the doctors and hospitals. And the articles I share below say that NSAID should be taken for a short period of time. 10 years is not a short period of time!
My personal thoughts:
I am so infuriated that these prescription drugs are popped like candy and most people do not even think about taking them. They are all bad! All of them! THERE IS A PLANT IN NATURE TO HELP THE BODY HEAL FROM ANY CONDITION!!! Plants have little to no side effects!
Quotes and Information Resources:
“There are countless articles on the internet describing the use of NSAIDs in treating chronic inflammation. This article will focus on one aspect of NSAIDs. How they can make your pain worse. We are going to span many years of research that demonstrate NSAIDs can cause more pain.”
“The lay public for whom NSAIDs are prescribed and recommended by both healthcare professionals and drug manufacturers should be aware that long-term NSAID use is detrimental to articular cartilage. Specifically, be informed that NSAIDs will likely worsen the osteoarthritis disease for which it is prescribed. Physicians, allied health care professionals, and drug manufacturers should be required to inform the lay public that NSAID use can accelerate osteoarthritis articular cartilage degeneration. A strict warning label on these medications should read as follows:
The use of this nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medication has been shown in scientific studies to accelerate the articular cartilage breakdown in osteoarthritis. The use of this product poses a significant risk in accelerating osteoarthritis joint breakdown. Anyone using this product for the pain of osteoarthritis should be under a doctor’s care and the use of this product should be with the very lowest dosage and for the shortest duration of time. If NSAID use continues, then most likely the exponential rise in degenerative arthritis and subsequent musculoskeletal surgeries, including knee and hip replacements as well as spine surgeries, will continue to rise as well.”
Above are quotes from this website: https://caringmedical.com/prolotherapy-news/nsaids-chronic-pain-medications/
“In the normal joint, there is a balance between the continuous process of cartilage matrix degradation and repair. In OA, there is a disruption of the homeostatic state and the catabolic (breakdown) processes of chondrocytes. It is clear from the scientific literature that NSAIDs from in vitro and in vivo studies in both animals and humans have a significantly negative effect on cartilage matrix which causes an acceleration of the deterioration of articular cartilage in osteoarthritic joints. The preponderance of evidence shows that NSAIDs have no beneficial effect on articular cartilage in OA and accelerate the very disease for which they are most often used and prescribed. Some of the effects of NSAIDs on the articular cartilage in OA include inhibition of chondrocyte proliferation, synthesis of cellular matrix components, glycosaminoglycan synthesis, collagen synthesis and proteoglycan synthesis. The net effect of all or some of the above is an acceleration of articular cartilage breakdown.
In human studies, NSAIDs have been shown to accelerate the radiographic progression of OA of the knee and hip. For those using NSAIDs compared to the patients who do not use them, joint replacements occur earlier and more quickly and frequently. The author notes that massive NSAID use in osteoarthritic patients since their introduction over the past forty years is one of the main causes of the rapid rise in the need for hip and knee replacements, both now and in the future.”

Chef Val LIVE - Wild Violet Flower Tea and I will be talking about what I am writing here in this blog.
“The human body was not made to ingest or inject chemicals!”
This is my quote! I have been saying this for over 25 years! There are ALWAYS side effects. There is ALWAYS some type of damage being done by chemicals. Prescription drugs are chemicals.
Gary Brecka Videos:
I first heard about the progressive degeneration of the knees and hips from this video on YouTube. It is an interview with Gary Brecka on the channel, Diary of a CEO. Gary tells his story of working for an insurance company that can predict how long people will live based partly on the prescriptions drugs they take. I remember his saying that Corticosteroid would make knee and hip joints worse thus creating more knee and hip replacement surgeries. He did not go into more detail in this show, just mentioned it.
More recently, last week I saw Gary Brecka interviewed on the YouTube channel, PBD Podcast, on the show, The Real Reason you are Dying. Gary elaborated a little more that the prescription drugs that are supposed to help with arthritis pain, are ruining the joints and creating more knee and hip replacement surgeries.
Warning:
Now do not go to your doctor and say, Oh, I heard that this prescription drug makes my arthritis condition worse. I can almost guarantee that your doctor does not know this, or they are getting money for prescribing such drugs and will not risk losing some of their income. The doctors will say something to the effect of, oh that does not work, or stop doing google searches, or you could DIE if you do not take this drug. (That treat of dying is their favorite one to use to get you to take a chemical prescription drug.
