Did you hear what happened in Battle Creek, Michigan on Oct. 15th? How Kellogg’s turned its back on the American people and children that want to make their breakfast cereal healthier?
The Food Babe, Vani Hari, collected over 400,000 signatures asking Kellogg to serve the American people the same cereal they make for other countries using food as dyes for the colors in their kid’s cereal. And Kellogg’s did not care.
Did you know that Kellogg’s cereal that is sold in America has toxic dyes in it and the Kellogg’s cereal they sell in other counties does not contain those toxic dyes? Yes, that is true. They have the ability and the know how to make the cereal using food as dyes (which would be healthier) and they are choosing to sell the American people the more toxic cereal with the food dyes.

Not everyone knows that Kellogg’s sells safer cereals in other countries.
Not everyone knows that artificial dyes and BHT are linked to cancer and other health risks, especially in children.
Schools throughout the country are serving Apple Jacks and Froot Loops full of dyes and BHT to American children for breakfast. It’s a travesty.”

When we arrived at their front steps with more than 400,000 signed petitions, we were met with a sign in a high-rise window that said “Get Off My Lawn”.
Their executives refused to meet with any of us. Even a Kellogg’s shareholder and elected officials were denied a meeting to discuss why they sell safer versions of their cereals in other countries without artificial dyes or BHT.
This is a slap in every American’s face! They do not care about us and they do not care about children.
This is why NO ONE should be buying Kellogg’s products. Kellogg’s is Anti-American and does not deserve one more dollar from any citizen.
Last year, Kellogg’s split into two separate companies, and sold off all of their other brands like Eggos and Poptarts. Now they mostly just sell cereal.”

Vani Hari has now created a campaign to Boycott Kellogg’s because they refuse to even talk about this issue.

I do not eat these foods, but I support the Boycott
As many of you know, I changed my diet and lifestyle over 27 years ago and have not eaten any of these foods for a long time. I do support Vani and what she is doing. Many people and kids eat these foods. These people and kids should not be poisoned from eating their food. The blatant ignoring the thousands of people and Vani on October 15 was beyond appalling! Kellogg’s really showed that day that they do not care about what the people want. That is why I am writing this blog and sharing the Boycott Kellogg’s movement.

In the clip you can see the disappointment that Vani and all those people experienced when someone in the office building held up a sign that said “Get off our Lawn”. And they called all the kids up front to chant ‘Let us in’ over and over again as Kellogg’s ignored their voices. But the most emotional point is when the kids and the all the people there sang the National Athem. Our America where a big company such as Kellogg’s thinks it is OK to poison us while giving other countries a healthier version. Makes me cry for our country.
