Hi everyone,
I have been so busy the last week working with and promoting The Ultimate Vegan Health and Weigh Loss Bundle. I want to share with you all the wonderful people I have met and their contributions to the bundle. I have been doing interviews, both being the interviewer and being interviewed by other people in the bundle. It is such a community of informative, interesting and talented people.
The Ultimate Vegan Health and Weight Loss Bundle is over 120 contributors with over $6,000.00 worth of items for only $49.00. It is only available until Sunday Feb. 12th. You can purchase it here: https://transactions.sendowl.com/stores/15779/250297
I will share links to some of the interviews on my radio show, REAL FOOD with Chef Val and on You Tube (videos are at the end of the blog). Please take a few minutes to listen to the interesting lives and stories that they shared. Plus you will get recipes, I shared my recipe for Brown Rice Pudding on The Kathy Hester Show (You Tube) and my recipe for Easy Brown Rice Snacks in the Air Fryer on Chef A.J. channel on You Tube (videos at the end of blog).
Julia Dunaway - author of Plant Based Japanese, e cookbook
Chef Julia mother was Japanese and she dedicates her new cookbook to her. The introduction has heart warming stories of her mother and her challenges being Japanese living in the southern U.S. I made two recipes out of her cookbook (I did change some of the ingredients) her Tofu Musubi and Kabocha Squash Bread (I made muffins with my home made blueberry jam in the middle).

Angelica Govaert - Yogaleberty
Angelica has been doing yoga since she was 11 years old. She has contributed to the bundle a whole yoga certification course. Once you have taken the course you will be certified to teach yoga. Angelica focuses on teaching all of yoga including the spiritual side. Being a yoga enthusiast for over 20 years and very spiritual myself, Angelica course was the first thing that I was drawn to in the bundle. We had a great conversation on my radio show, REAL FOOD with Chef Val, you can listen here: https://www.blogtalkradio.com/macrovalrealfood/2023/02/09/real-food-with-chef-val
Kathy Hester -
She contributed, Kitchen Appliance Wizardly to the bundle. Recipes and videos using a dehydrator, air fryer and Instapot. Kathy is a incredable sweet lady who has a You Tube channel where she shares recipes that she has created. I was the special guest on her show and I made my Brown Rice Pudding. (Video is below). I found out Kathy had taught how to make TEMPEH from scratch in the past, that is impressive.
Chef Vicki Brett Gach -
She is local here in Michigan (where I am also). She owns Ann Arbor Vegan Kitchen and is a vegan coach, cooking instructor and blogger. She contributed to the bundle, Plant Based Meals, Next Level Batch Cooking, three video and recipes series. She is very organized and such a sweet lady. I interviewed her on my new Restream studio, (Video is on You Tube, look below).
Chef Kathy Allen Davis -
She is so interesting, she lives in an R.V. and travels all over the U.S. She contributed to the bundle, Super Veg Bowl e cookbook. I made one of her dishes. I was drawn to the recipes because it has seitan in it, I love seitan. (For those who do not know what it is, it is wheat gluten cooked and pounded to eventually get to a delicous alternative to meat). But when I went to the store, they did not have any, so I substituted tempeh instead. It is sautéed, Tempeh, onions and mushrooms served over Brown Rice (I added that) and boiled sweet potatoes served with a Mustard Sauce. The mustard sauce has both yellow mustard (my favorite) and stone ground mustard. The sauce was so delicous! The link to my interview with her on Restream (You Tube) is below.
Some of the other wonderful people I have met who are part of the bundle and what they contributed.
Elspeth Abraham Feldman - The Speedy Vegan - Costa Rica Cooking, cooking videos and recipes.
Rachel Detroit - Lifestyle Recipes e cookbook and Lifestyle Medicine information. She has M.S. and she is able to control it living a whole foods, vegan lifestyle.
Angel The Yummy Vegan - Sweet and Savory Detox Smoothies e book - I was very impressed with Angel’s e book. The first half of the book she goes in to great depth about why she chooses the ingredients for her smoothies. Plus she does her smoothies for the seasons (like cooking for the seasons), she wants you to chew your smoothies and she does not use bananas because they are tropical.
Lisa Rice - I don’t cook, I cook a little with Lauren Bernick - cooking videos and recipes. Two dear friends who created these recipes together. Lisa just interviewed me on Instagram and she got started with macrobiotics and we has so much to talk about.
