'Perfect Day' 'Apeel' 'CRISPR' - Stay Away from Our Food Supply!
Solution: Eat as close to nature as possible.
Always eat food as close to nature as possible.
Eat food grown in the soil of Mother Earth. We cannot improve on the perfection of nature and nature supplies us with our food. Stay away from food created in a laboratory.
Twenty some years ago, I thought genetically engineered food was horrible. Fast forward to now and it is unfathomable what they are doing to our food. Creating food with DNA, gene manipulating food to have a different taste, growing fake food like substances in a lab, coating our food with a toxic concoction are just a few examples.
I am doing all I can to inform the public about ‘Apeel’ and other toxic things they are doing to our food. I am self-employed and a single income household. Please consider becoming a paid subscriber. All this research takes time, which I am glad to spend my time informing the public plus be able to pay my bills. Thank you.
‘Perfect Day’ does not sound perfect:
I recently heard about ‘Perfect Day’ a fake dairy that is being marketed to create ice creams and in 2021 were working on cheese alternatives. (All the information and links are from 2021.) Recently, in a vegan Facebook group, someone posted a picture of a dairy free product they were all excited about. Someone commented it was made with ‘Perfect Day’. I am vegan and I will not be eating anything with this weird food created by ‘new biological systems’. ‘Perfect Day’ is an animal free, milk protein with no cows involved, that uses fungi to grow whey and casein. It is all confusing to understand how they create this fake dairy. Here is a quote:
“Instead, the company’s website calls their process “precision fermentation”, a made-up phrase this industry sector deploys as a euphemism for synthetic biology, as I explained in my article on greenwashing biotech.
What is synthetic biology? According to one definition, it “involves creating new biological systems in vitro by bringing together 'non-living' biomolecular components, often with the aim of constructing an artificial cell.
The idea is to mimic the DNA of the thing you want to make, and then use genetic engineering to replicate and create the final product. Here is how the environmental group Friends of the Earth describes it: “GMO yeast, algae and other organisms act as ‘living factories’ to produce … food.” “
It is not vegan. However, it is being marketed as vegan. Whey and casein are protein found in dairy. “Is it vegan? Technically yes since the process does not use traditional animal ingredients. But because the word vegan has always been understood to mean free of dairy, it’s potentially confusing to use it for a product that contains whey protein.”
Casein is one of the main contributors to creating allergies in people. Casein is a protein found in milk and dairy products. It accounts for roughly 80% of the protein in milk, cheese, and yogurt. The other 20% is whey protein.

‘CRISPR’ Technology in our Food:
And if all of the weird science to create our food was not scary enough, now they are using ‘CRISPR’ technology. ‘CRISPR’ is being increasingly used to tinker with natural foods. In addition to altering taste, ‘CRISPR’ is being used to extend shelf life and create foods that resist certain bacteria and viruses.
“Whereas genetic engineering involves the introduction of foreign genes, CRISPR involves manipulating or editing existing DNA. It’s said to be “exceptionally precise.”
But CRISPR isn’t always an exact science. As is often the case when it comes to tinkering with genetics, gene editing has led to unexpected side effects, including enlarged tongues and extra vertebrae in animals.
Further, when researchers at the U.K.’s Wellcome Sanger Institute systematically studied mutations from CRISPR-Cas9 in mouse and human cells, large genetic rearrangements were observed, including DNA deletions and insertions, near the target site.
The DNA deletions could end up activating genes that should stay “off,” such as cancer-causing genes, as well as silencing those that should be “on.””
“Pairwise, an agricultural biotechnology company, created Conscious Greens Purple Power Baby Greens Blend, the first CRISPR-edited food available to U.S. consumers.”

More information about ‘Apeel’:
“Limoneira, one of the largest U.S. growers of lemons, including organic, does not grow every lemon sold in the world, but CEO Harold Edwards’s goal is to “coat every lemon in the world with Apeel.” Limoneira signed an exclusive licensing relationship with Apeel Sciences on May 11.”
Comments on Limoneira Facebook post, customers are not happy. Leave a comment and tell them what you think:

What you can do about all of this:
Tell everyone you know about what is being done to our food. Ask at the stores you shop, if their produce is being covered by ‘Apeel’. Make copies of any of my 4 blogs about ‘Apeel’ and hand them out to everyone you know. Informing the public is the first step. I still have not come across anyone who has heard of ‘Apeel’. I have a booth at the local Farmer’s Market and I a handing out flyers and talking to people, no one has heard of it yet. Once I tell them they are all pretty mad about it.
Continue to buy organic produce. If at all possible, buy from local farmers that you have talked to and know they are not using ‘Apeel’. If you find out your local store is selling food made in a way you are uncomfortable with, do not buy it. And contact the company and tell them why you are not going to buy it.
We the people have the power and the money. If we do not buy it, they will not produce it.

Do you think we can really persuade most of humanity not to buy this stuff? I sure hope so. I just wonder what it will take to persuade them.
